August 30 – Trail of the blue mountainsNe oregon
A beautiful dawn
The mist definitely made a beautiful dawn. My site was perfectly located to see the sun rise on the issues. Today was the last impulse for my rest in the big one. He had rented an Airbnb for 3 nights and planned to take two days off and then return to the path on Tuesday after Labor Day. Mary was flying to Boise and driving to the big one during the weekend. I wanted to get to the big one, or the big locals call it, as soon as possible.
My site becomes more messy while I prepare to leave.
Traffic was almost the same as yesterday. An occasional vehicle, almost completely. And since the archery season was already underway, the vehicles were uniformly full of men with a rising -looking camouflage, who looked at me as if I were an alien. At least most of them decreased and they turned to me. An occasional vehicle would accelerate, dusting. However, I was fine and I abstained to turn them. I wasn’t anxious for them to shoot me again.

Reinecke Cabin.
It was a long and hot walk of earth/gravel to the city, without water. When I arrived at 10 miles from the city, I began to receive text messages from my friend Catherine, who was looking to track me for a little magic of trails. Which was not a small feat since I was a moving goal. However, a slow movement objective. Here, I was walking along a rough section of Glass Hill Road and a truck crawled behind me. The road was so narrow that I had to go down to leave space for collection. Then, suddenly, I saw him Catherine and Shawn. Marvelous!
They brought cold water, cold soft drinks, fresh berries and fresh green berries for me. It was exactly what I needed! I have been very lucky to have such good support on this walk! Of course they had a hundred questions for me, but I still had 10 miles to walk, so I postponed to the extent I could. Then they took half of my team and had an ultralight walk to the city.
Big
It was too early to register, so I went to The Press Room For ice cream. He felt good to sit in his patio and reflect on this midpoint. He used to live in the big one, and it was strange to get around the city. Soon, Catherine and Shawn appeared to return my team. They offered me a trip to my Airbnb, which was just a few blocks away, but I jumped from their offer. It was out of the way!
We made plans to meet for dinner later in Side a beer elaboration. And shortly after they left, Mary arrived. I was exhausted but also vigorized. I knew that I still had the longest part of the path to complete, but in the meantime I really wanted to take a little recovery time, sleep in a real bed, have easily available drinking water and hot water, and eat food prepared by other people. And it would really be good to connect with our friends here!
