What is the format for Super League Kerala?
Each team plays each other twice in the competition phase (at home and gone). The top four teams after the competition phase will qualify for the semi -final, with the winners going to the final.
If two or more teams are equal to points after the competition phase, the semi -finalists are determined by:
-
Most of the number of points obtained in the league games between the teams involved
-
Superior target difference from the competition matches between the teams involved
-
Superior target difference in all league matches
-
Most number of goals scored in all league matches
-
Highest fair play ranking; Fair play score = number of yellow cards + (number of red cards × 2). Teams with a lower fair play score are ranked higher, because it reflects a better discipline on the field
-
