Spain coach Luis de la Fuente said on Friday that there was «no conflict» with Hansi film after the Barcelona boss criticized Lamine Yamal last month by the national team.
The 18-year-old winger made his first start for Barcelona since August in the 2-1 loss of Wednesday for Paris Saint-Germain after he had recovered from a groin injury that felt film was worsened by playing him in the September qualifications.
«There is no conflict with Flick. I was just surprised by those statements because he was a coach of the national team and I thought he had that empathy,» De La Fuente said after announcing his team for matches against Georgia and Bulgaria.
“You know that we have two very important matches; we play for the World Cup. It seems that they are in the background and we are talking about Flick.
«We play for the World Cup, that’s what really matters. The rest is not important. Everyone said what they said, and that’s it.»
Flick said the moment he spoke briefly with De La Fuente via SMS, but their communication could be improved.
De la Fuente tried to give more clarity about the situation on Friday when he tried to draw a line under the issue.

«What happened was that when the game ended, he had a kind of discomfort. But I never played without discomfort. Nothing happened,» he said.
«Our medical staff explained it and I explained it. Nothing more. Did he have discomfort after the game? Well, I don’t know.»
Spain will be without Nico Williams and Dani Carvajal for the upcoming qualifications, while Alvaro Morata has been omitted from the team after a slow start of the season in Como.
Athletic Bilbao-wing player Williams has not played since he picked up a groin injury in the 6-0 win over Turkey. His club reportedly asked to be managed by his playing time because of discomfort.
«The risk in football and in sport always exists. When he plays in his club, he assumes those risks. We are talking about completely normal situations,» said De la Fuente.
Spain is at the top of group E with six points after two games. On October 11, Georgia is facing Georgia in Elche and host Bulgaria in Valladolid three days later.
