Borussia Dortmund came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with visitors RB Leipzig on Saturday, ending his four-game extraction Bundesliga Run because it gave his first competition goal since August.
Dortmund, 4-1 winners about Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League on Wednesday, was on the back foot after seven minutes when Christoph Baumgartner tapped from the header of Assan Oudraogo to place the visitors in the front.
It was the third game in a row that Leipzig scored within the first 15 minutes, and the first goal Dortmund admitted in the Bundesliga after four consecutive clean sheets.
The hosts hit back when Yan Couto drilled home from the inside to the box after 23 minutes, and both parties had many more chances after the break.
Neither Leipzig’s Baumgartner nor Dortmund’s top scorer Serhouh Guirassy could find the target up close, and Dortmund -replacement Julian Brandt also went close with a loop head.
Dortmund is second in the rankings on 14 points, with Leipzig third on 13. Leaders Bayern Munich, at the age of 15 -will later play in Eintracht Frankfurt later on Saturday.
