Mbeumo sets a unique record in the Premier League match between Liverpool and Manchester United

Manchester United striker Bryan Mbeumo’s strike is the fastest goal ever scored in a Premier League match between Liverpool and United at Anfield on Sunday.

The Cameroon international found the back of the net in the second minute of the 2025/26 Premier League match between the arch-rivals.

This is only the second time a goal has been scored in the opening two minutes of a Premier League match between Liverpool and Manchester United, after Nicky Butt for the Red Devils at Old Trafford in October 1995.
