FC Goa defender Sandesh Jhingan will play in a face mask in the Indian club’s AFC Champions League 2 match against Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr at the Fatorda Stadium in Goa on Wednesday.

The Indian international will be playing in the protective mask after he suffered his fractured cheekbone during India’s 2025 FIFA Nations Cup match against Iran.
