Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain dropped points to a 1-1 draw against lowly Lorient on Wednesday and suffered another injury when striker Désiré Doué left the field in the second half.
PSG were not punished, however, as Marseille conceded six minutes of injury time in a 2-2 draw at home to Angers.
A win would have moved Marseille into first place on goal difference. That seemed likely after 18-year-old striker Robinio Vaz scored twice in the second half. But Angers defender Ousmane Camara punished Marseille for going deep in the closing stages.
The draw allowed Monaco to leapfrog Marseille and move into second place after a 5-3 win in Nantes.

Earlier, Doué clutched his right thigh before being removed on a stretcher with his hands over his face in the 61st minute.
«It was a bit of a strange injury, I don’t know what his condition is yet,» said PSG coach Luis Enrique. “I hope it’s not serious, but we’ll have to wait and see.”
Doué missed several weeks earlier in the season with a calf injury, while Ousmane Dembélé – his PSG and France teammate – was also sidelined for several weeks with a hamstring injury.
Ballon d’Or winner Dembélé returned to the starting line-up as left back Nuno Mendes put defending champions PSG ahead in the 49th minute with a downward header from Doué’s cross.
But Lorient hit back two minutes later through a powerful shot from Igor Silva.
“The players had almost nothing left in the tank at the end,” said Lorient coach Olivier Pantaloni.
Midfielder Aleksandr Golovin scored twice in Monaco’s win, which also featured a goal from American forward Folarin Balogun.
Bahereba Guirassy, a 19-year-old striker who is the younger brother of prolific Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy, scored two goals for Nantes.
Argentina striker Joaquín Panichelli continued his good form with a goal as Strasbourg won 3–0 at home to Auxerre to move up to fourth place after Lyon’s defense collapsed in fifth place in a 3–3 draw against Paris FC.
Pavel Sulc scored twice and French midfielder Corentin Tolisso also scored as Lyon advanced 3-0 after an hour of play but conceded three times in 20 minutes.
Lens lost 2-0 at rock bottom Metz, who secured the first win of the season with two late goals from midfielder Gauthier Hein.
Hein was sent off after receiving a second yellow card as he celebrated his second goal by taking off his jersey.
Nice also defeated Lille 2-0; Le Havre defeated Brest 1-0; and Toulouse drew 2-2 at Rennes after trailing 2-0.
