6am Reply
What country. At 6 in the morning I am walking through a great supermarket to make my refueling for the next few days. An impossible task in New Zealand, the great novelty of the situation made me smile. Of course, 23 degrees and 98% moisture added a literal shock absorber to my optimistic mood. It was warm.
It is no longer the ripped recalcitrant Reporter of Antiquity, I walked with confidence in the halls by selecting only the best ingredients for my next excursion. It is not an additional gram bought unnecessarily, even when my left eye temporarily wandered with the hall of sweets. Discipline, that is my results these days. Of course, this discipline is easier when it has literally filled with more food than the cookie monster could eat in the last 48 hours while staying in the yellow Deli.
With my uncomfortably full bag with four days of food stored inside, it was time to return to the Yellow Deli to enjoy a final breakfast. Today there were twelve hikers at breakfast, a relatively strident beginning, and very soon I had gotten closer than a taco on the street of Mexico City and left the shelter to the bus station.
The 7.15 am bus was unusually late, just making its departure at 7.20 am the locals had worried in this inoportuna exit, it had total confidence in the ability of drivers to invent time.
Walking in heat
A beginning of 8.40 am was the last one who had been on the way until now. It is also the most popular day prognosis so far. This is what you would call an unfortunate sequence of events.
The forest was spectacular in the morning light, and the water sources that was producing from each part of my body joined the general environment. He had consumed 2 liters of water before starting the walk, and was sure to have emptied that in the first thirty minutes of hiking.
After about 5 km, I arrived at a state park camp. It was 10 am and the temperature had just cleared 30 degrees. The humidity was also at a stupid level. I sat waiting for Chestnut to update (assuming that he had not melted on the path) and evaluated the options.
The path from the state park increased an elevation gain of 800 m in a quite fast time, and the rest of the days planned the walk had some decent ups and downs. My level of enjoyment was already low enough to be pushed would designate all the fun of the day.
The State Park camp, on the other hand, shower, strongly shaded camps, excellent collation opportunities of hammocks and a special price of $ 7.00 through the hiker.
Sold.
Planning while swinging
I spent the rest of the day planning how my imaginary time lost in the next few days. He had ordered a new quilt while in Rutland, and sent her to an angel of trails in Hanover, New Hampshire. It was time to withdraw my recover of illuminated teams from decade. For the enthusiastic readers of my wandering, this quilt, while the survival described during -1 degrees when New had lost some down and what was left had emigrated so much that even a 10 degree night was now a fight to stay hot without using each layer of my backpack.
With my determined plan, I spent the afternoon writing blogs and I had a cold 10 -minute shower. Good touch of a path of path to leave soap and shampoo in the bears box next to the bathrooms, thank you very much!
Too soon, my unexpected Nero (hiking day of almost zero miles) ran to his conclusion. He united another hiker for dinner, and then headed to bed. Just after being established, a storm hit with a perfect moment, causing the humidity to fall and allow me to go to the sound of rainfall drops by the walls of the store.
