One of the main citations that you will hear on the path is my favorite. ‘The path will restore your faith in humanity’. Today was the day he took the doors of this statement.
Linda breakfast
The day began in the line that would continue, while wandering with cloudy eyes to the porch after packing my team. It was 6 in the morning and I thought I would be wandering along the way to start walking towards New Hampshire and the cities of Norwich and Hanover.
On the porch I was pretty, calling me to enjoy a dish of fruits and cheese sticks for breakfast. Even with the hard talk that I had with myself yesterday, my brain of the 6 am could not take photos of the beautiful propagation while I was in the light of dawn. Linda then produced some more insulting eggs and would have been rude not to eat them too. So I did.
Around 6.30 in the morning I forced myself to leave the porch and returned to the path. I appreciated beautifully for its kindness and generosity, and for sharing all the great stories about the history of the path.
The walk to NH
Today was just a short walk on a small hill to get to the city of Norwich, Vermont’s border city. The day was glowing, much cooler than the last days, and the ground of the path was easy and the rating not too demanding.
He only took a few hours in the morning before reaching the longest walk along the way.

About 6 km from the road through Norwich, then on a bridge where the New Hampshire border is waiting, and in Hanover, my destination for the day.
Linda had suggested to appear in Dan and Whit’s groceries, since they have often recently expired foods they give to hikers for free. Now, in my best days at home, I am very happy to eat food recently, and with my current hiker, I am sure I would be willing to explore even older products than I would normally.
Then, with a spring in my passage, I went to the grocery store, wandered towards the Deli and asked for its best products that could no longer be sold. This caused enough confusion making me ask me if Linda was remembering another decade in time where this was common for a hiker. However, in a short time, they gave me some defeated salad and Edamame beans, and they sent me to my cheerful path.
Chestnut and I do not hesitate to deepen these three -day concoctions, and I suppose that, as I am still writing this blog, I should not have killed me. As for the photos … Go. This hunger for hike is a real problem for photography. I took a mental note after inhaling expired foods to work better as the day progressed.

After wandering next to the road for a while we arrive at the river. Halfway to the other side of the bridge that covered the river, I entered my fifth state of the trip.

Without a doubt, in future blogs, I will discuss in detail the surprising level of fear that this small state produces for the possible in hikers. You go fearsome, terrifying descents without curves, inspiring winds, etc., etc. Hopefully I can survive.
Triple Hanover Corona
While there is a lot of emotion about the idea of walking along the three long -distance paths of the United States, there is a much more valuable achievement that can be obtained in the city of Hanover. Three companies have realized that if they offer some free food for hikers, there is a very good possibility that these same hikers can be a complete cookie monster in their establishments and buy ridiculous amounts of food.
The first stop was Lou’s, a provider of baked products.

A muffin of chocolate sparks later later, I was starting to feel pretty good. While we headed to the second free food stop, we approached the very well significant locals that recognized our particular general appearance (uninforceable clothing, backpacks, glusa) and wanted to talk about our experience on the way to date.
Now I am in favor of this level of kindness and we promised with all my heart. At the bottom of my mind, I could not avoid thinking that the involuntary danger that these people were putting on each other and more food. He reminded me that he might give a bone to your rottweiler and then try to distract the dog of eating. Risky.
After disconnecting from the friendly people, we entered the candy store and we gave each other a little caramel. Our third and last stop was the pizza store where you can choose a portion.

Yes, you may also have forgotten to take a photo here.
Bubbing
Feeling very satiated for our triple Crown success, I went to the library to plan logistics for the next few days in New Hampshire. Upon entering the library, I asked where I could find water and headed to a bubbling in the corner of the room.
Chestnut asked me if I had noticed that they did not direct me to a water source. Of course, we did not call a source of water a bubbly in Australia. Chestnut had raised an excellent point. Why did an American send me to a bubble?
I returned to the librarian and discovered that the people of the states of Wisconsin and Massachusetts are united with the Australian public in calling the water bubbling a pressurized tap to launch to heaven where you can catch it in your mouth to drink a bubble.
Walmart Reply
The best I could say that it seemed that a four -day replenishment was required to overcome the first section of the infamous white mountains. We got on a free bus to get to a Walmart that was in a neighboring city, since it is a well -known fact among hikers that Walmart is the bomb when it comes to replenishing.
He took two free buses to get to the door of Walmart, and once there we lost little time to solve our food during the next few days. There were clues and rumors in the Farout application that it was possible to obtain some free food of the eight huts that were through whites, so we made an error on the lighter side of the refueling in the hope that this would be true.
After wandering Price Chopper next to the Walmart to get hot food at night.

Hannover Trail Angel network
It is at this point that I must speak with you about Hanover Trail Angels. I spend a lot of time investigating the path when it is not to walk, and the FARAUT application has a significant section of social networks that allows comments on each of the icons shown on the map that provides information things.
A piece caught my attention. ‘Bill of messages about this number for a list of Hanover Trail Angels that are willing to organize through hikers for a night in their homes’. The bill of messages that I made and a list of two pages of possible places to stay was provided. What an incredible thing for these people, to take strangers to their homes daily and offer them refuge at night while they continue their journey along the path.
While Chestnut contacted the numbers provided, I contacted Judy, one of the angels on the list. He had sent a message to Judy the previous week about sending my replacement for her home and she had happily accepted.
While we were sitting outside Walmart eating chicken sandwiches and drinking large amounts of chocolate milk, I received a message from Judy.

I was very happy that my comforter came safely and sound. And the offer of a shower was the icing on the cake. Chestnut continued to try to find a place for us to stay the night while I replied and was completely surprised by Judy’s response.

Ok, let’s analyze this while my brain explodes. A person I have never met in my life just offered to stay at home … while they are out. I have never met them. It is his house. Where they live.
I’m not really sure how to articulate the kindness of a stranger at this level. Open your home in this way is an additional act not only of kindness, but also of confidence in the human spirit.
Judy’s
I told the bus driver to step on him (not so well received strangely) and went out to Judy’s place. Upon arrival I found my new quilt and left my old in the Judy hiker box. After a shower was made and a laundry load, more meals were made (another chicken?). Judy’s house was beautiful and he still couldn’t believe the level of trust granted to a stranger.
I fell asleep in a comfortable content of the bed with the day and the incredible events that had happened.
