48 chicken nuggets gave in the act in Rangelley $ 34.16

I woke up in the shelter and gave a foot pass to the foot. The leg was not happy. This was discouraging, since I otherwise felt fantastic. The injuries are an integral part of any long distance walk, unfortunately it seemed to be more significant than I would like.

Even so, I am camped in the middle of the forest next to a pond (Lake), so there is nothing more than going to the next road crossing. I took a couple of vitamin I (ibuprofen) tablets, rolled my mattress, ate a bar and started slowly towards the path.

Magnificent Maine

Despite the pain in the leg, it was a real joy to look around and admire Maine’s scenic majesty.

The path was particularly easy today, with very little gain or loss of elevation. The forest was quiet and beautiful, and the river routes were particularly picturesque. It seems that all the classes have directed south during the summer. I imagine it is a good time for them to go to Mexico for a break. One thing is safe, there are none here. I have searched high and bass in search of Bullwinkle and apart from a scat I have not seen neither skin nor hair.

Vitamin I worked for a couple of hours to numb the pain. Unfortunately, the walk took me four hours to reach the road. The last two hours were not fun, and I spent most of the time contemplating the best way to rest and recover. When I closed on the road, I saw something that looked out of place.

Can you see it, in the distance? I closed my prey, certainly limping and moved slowly.

Yes, it seems that even injured, I can live up to the name of my path. Like a moth attracted to a flame, I ran into my favorite words.

I grabbed an frozen soda and took it out, thanks to the kind human who left this path magic.

Rangelley

I arrived at the head of the path and Chestnut was waiting for me to get hooked together in the city. We took out our thumbs and in a matter of seconds a man shouted from his car. It turns out that he was a Rangngeley -based transport driver and thought we could have been his clients who had called him to take a walk. Once we explained that we were not the droids he was looking for and Chestnut let him know that the hikers who had called him had accepted another trip (very poor form), was kind enough to take us to the city for free.

They dropped us into the local supermarket where I explained to Chestnut that I would have to rest for a few days. We had been walking together for about six weeks at this time, so it was disappointing to say that we needed to continue our trips separately due to my leg.

My recovery plan consisted of buying three days of food and returning to the path where there was a shelter just another kilometer from the road. I thought that if my leg felt better after those two days of rest than I could simply continue, and if it was not yet great, it was just a thirty -minute limp to return to Rangelley and do a better plan.

Of course, while I was in a supermarket and I was still crazy hunger, I bought a lot of food for an abundant lunch. For a little variety, I went to chicken nuggets instead of the traditional grill option, it was, of course, loyal to chocolate milk.

After eating a couple of thousands of calories outside the supermarket, then we hooked another kilometer along the road (I am in no way doing any K that I do not have to do it in my current state) to the city’s outfitter to take a fuel boat. I put my leg on the lake next to the city to try to lower the important swelling of my spin to my foot.

We ended up chatting with a few hikers hanging near the outfits, and then we ran into Hydro, a driver driver that we had met several times in the last two weeks in several trail heads. We continue to gather while transporting a couple of hikers every day from the path to the hotels. True Platinum Blazing (hikers who have a healthy budget and relieve some of the challenges that most hikers support through the spending of large sums of money).

Hydro had the kindness of taking us back to the path late in the afternoon. The kindness I have experienced on this path has been extraordinary.

So I limited the last short distance to the shelter and prepared for my recovery. The shelter itself was good to relax, being reasonably unique for two reasons. The first were the roof skylights for a wonderfully bright sleeping space. The second was the double Dunny, more about that in the next publication.

I cooked about 79c mac ‘n’ Cheese for dinner. While it was not Ramen Pad Thai, I managed to enjoy it anyway. I read my book for a while before giving myself sleeping.
