Bob and I returned to Mammoth, the closest place to see a doctor. They checked me and everything is fine. I have lost weight since the beginning of the path, everyone has done so, and I can be out of fuel. The doctor recommended a few days of rest and food.
We were eating in a pizzeria, trying to discover our next movement, and a man approached and offered his guest room to spend the night. Again, these amazing and generous human appear! ❤️ We stayed one night with your family. I played letters with the children and we had a charming break of our circumstances.
Bob’s cousin got us accommodations in the city for four nights. This will allow me to rest while Bob will return to the road. It will walk 75 miles alone. During this time, my friend Jeffery, who would come to visit us anyway, will arrive. You can take me to meet Bob on the path on Kennedy Meadows North. Then Bob and I will walk the next 75 miles together to South Lake Tahoe and see if these days of rest and food will put me on the blow.
I will also use this time to exercise for my right foot to try to mitigate the pain I was starting. It seems symptoms of plantar fasciitis. I get some good advice from my sister -in -law and I will exercise and rest it.
So these days, this publication is my rest.
I will eat, rest and even make acupuncture for my right foot.
Jeffery and his Cat Maggie will arrive, we will relax and have a good visit. Who could have guessed the time of your visit would be so perfect?
I am very grateful for all the help and support I receive in this adventure!
Happy paths,
Julie
