85-88 days, he entered Vermud and a spectacular family weekend

Day 85: We had a lovely breakfast at a local restaurant in North Adams this morning. The rain continued today. It was a soaked and muddy day. It was nice to walk only 18 miles today after a 30 Miler. We enter Vermont and the long path. This felt like a milestone, since we are now officially in the north of New England and we feel very close to home. We walk the last half of today with Rabbit. My brother -in -law Jackson (Sendero Muscles) picked us up at the beginning of the path. He felt so good that our family would transport us! Due to wet conditions, Rabbit decided to stay the night in the city. We gave a trip to the city and then headed to Airbnb. We arrived at Airbnb and were received by all our dogs and relatives. Little when I entered the Airbnb I noticed personalized in decorations made by my very talented sister Celine. I definitely do not get the artisanal genes! We are so ready for a family weekend and a zero day with them tomorrow. We rent an airbnb for 3 nights. My heart is so full, my husband, my mother, sister, brother -in -law, brother, sister -in -law and nephew Leo are here. We had dinner at the family dining table and I was very happy. My sister had received two cakes from a bakery near where New Hampshire lives in Laconia to celebrate Jackson, Becca and May’s birthdays (my brother -in -law, sister -in -law and brother).

Day 86: Our eighth zero day was one for books. We sleep and woke up with a wonderful breakfast made by our family. Today we relax a lot. It was convenient to be able to wash our clothes right at the Airbnb. Before going to dinner, we made our refueling. We had a lovely dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner we relax in the living room in the Airbnb and went to bed at a decent hour. Back again tomorrow!

Day 87: He ate a good breakfast at the Airbnb. Ryan (Eagle Eye) and Jackson (muscles) joined us today, which was a great gift! We spent the first 10 miles climbing gradually. It was a very muddy day, but we were grateful not to be raining. The sun rarely reached its maximum point, but felt glorious when it did. We packed sandwiches and turkey wrappers for lunch, which were perfect. Last night we had moved vehicles so that when we completed our walk today, we could jump and drive back to Airbnb. When we returned to the truck, Eagle Eye fell asleep in a few minutes. We returned to the Airbnb and had another family dinner. Tomorrow we will leave our family and go to wrap this walk! I should take a moment to explain the new name of Eagle Eye path. Your vision is impeccable and can detect animals like no other. You don’t need corrective lenses, unlike me. I really have to wear my contacts or glasses. He is also an avid hunter and is in the same way when hunting. Often, when my dad and I are walking, he says: «We need Eagle Eye to help us see animals.»

Day 88: We started having a delicious breakfast made by Eagle Eye. The eggs, the deer sausage of their deer shot in NH the past autumn, bacon, eggs, toast and watermelon. It makes such a positive difference when we can eat a breakfast full of proteins before starting the day. Said goodbye to the family today, but fortunately next weekend we can see Ryan, Celine and Jackson again next weekend at Hanover, NH. Jackson and Celine moved us at the beginning of the path, said goodbye and left. Our walk began with a climb to Stratton Mountain. We climbed the tower of fire at the top and had a beautiful view. We were very happy to see the sun today instead of rain. The trails were much drier today compared to yesterday. We finished our day with a rise to the Bromley mountain that had an impressive view at the top. We stayed in the ski patrol cabin that is open for hikers. There was a dryer and outputs inside. A very cozy place to sleep along the way and not to mention that it is surrounded by an impressive 360 degree view. We had a spectacular sunset.
