Day 89: We woke up too late to see the dawn, but it’s fine because the sunset last night was incredible. We had breakfast on the balcony and sit in Adirondack chairs at the top of the Bromley mountain. We start walking just before 8 am. There was not as much climb as we thought there would be today. Vermud continues to fulfill its name. We walked through Little Rock Pond, and my dad could not resist, he took a dip in the pond. It was a beautiful pond. He has been waiting for this moment since he left Georgia while he loves his cold leaves. Towards the end of the day, black flies came out quite vicious, but not enough to eliminate our insect nuts. We camped by Bully Brook. After establishing the camp, my dad took a dip in the stream. I put my feet in the stream and cleaned my legs of the whole mud and also washed my face. This was enough to make me feel renewed. My dad, on the other hand, took the second place of the day. We walk 22 miles today.

Day 90: Today we walk 26 miles, 7,200 feet ascent. We arrive at a sign before Killington shows Katahdin is 500 miles away! So close! We fulfilled Killington in the afternoon. We thought that Killington’s climb was easy, but frequent coatings made it difficult. We took the blue fire to the Killington Summit, the climb was short, steep and rocky, but it was worth sight. We finish the day in headlights and campaign near the long path and the intersection of the trail of the Apalaches.

Day 91: Because we went to bed just before midnight last night and we put ourselves on the road just after 8 am this morning, we felt it. We definitely enter today a little dehydrated. We were not urinating much and felt slow. We rehydrate and hit the protein and feel much better in the afternoon. Today was much higher and down. We made more than 7,000 feet of descent and almost 6,000 feet ascent, and 22 miles. They picked us up and transferred to Woodstock Vermont at night. Eagle Eye met us tonight with our replenishment and spend the next four days with us. We shower and went to dinner. We had an incredible dinner and Arce cheese cake for dessert.

Day 92: Today was a good day with the hills. There were no important increases. We collectively cective around 30 ticks in total. None was embedded, we were attentive to making ticks of ticks after walking through grass fields. We walked through a small town a little more than half of our day and stopped at Captain Shash to fill our waters. Celine and Jackson plan to meet us tonight at Hanover New Hampshire to spend the night and we are eager for this. We loved to see our family frequently now that we are in northern New England. The latest Vermont miles on the pavement. We were not sad about this, since he gave us a little rest to end the day. My dad called Celine and Jackson to bring Juno, his Golden Retriever to us so that we could take him to walk while we completed Vermont and entered New Hampshire. He felt very special to cross New Hampshire. Although Maine is at home, New Hampshire feels like a close second. Growing up, we spent our family summer vacations in New Hampshire, near the white mountains. We would choose the best meteorological day to walk on Mount Washington every year, and it was always a central memory. Anyway, the walk through Hanover, NH was beautiful. We finish the day with 23 miles, 6,200 feet ascent. We went to a restaurant in the city, we passed the family and went to bed. We knew that tomorrow it would be a difficult day, since nothing more than rain is in the forecast.
