93-95 days, wet conditions before entering the entrance door to the whites

Day 93: Today was an exhausting day. He was a tempting for zero, but we have a pleasant climate window for whites and we want to make sure to reach that window. It was difficult to see Celine, Jackson and Juno get away in such a horrible climate, but we persevere. We have at 17 million. The first four hours of the walk were a soaked rain. Fortunately, some were lightened, but the paths were soaked. Many steps that I took today felt as if my feet were swimming through a body of cold and large water. It was very nice to have the Eagle Eye company. He joked that it would have been a good day for advanced birds. We transport ourselves to Lyme NH to dry the night. We stayed in a beautiful inn and we all ate great dinners. We all feel exhausted and looked at my dad saying: «I’m not sure how many rainy days as today I have stayed in me.» He agreed without hesitation. It was such a difficult day, especially mentally, but we overcome it. The bottom of my feet were plums. The hot bath I took before dinner felt magical.

Day 94: The first thing we walked through a field and our feet were immediately soaked. Then we had a climb to the smart mountain. The view from the Fire Tower on the Smart mountain was pleasant. Our next climb, Mount Cube had a beautiful view. It was a cold day, I really had to dig in my bag to throw pants and a jacket halfway. This warmed me immediately. The last part of the day was extremely muddy and wet. I still think for myself, how much more rain can take the paths? We land in a stealthy place 20 miles of the day. We were cold by installing camp. He felt so good to take off his shoes/socks to let our feet dry. We quickly heated once we got welcoming in our sleeping bags.

Day 95: This morning we wait for the rain in our store. We really don’t start packing until 9 am. This morning was one of those mornings who didn’t want to go on an excursion. It was very difficult to get going. The worst part of this morning was to wear socks and cold and cold cold shoes. I was afraid that much of the path today was as muddy and wet as yesterday. But what a difference between yesterday and today. There were only small and occasional mud patches. The upload of Mount Moosilauke was very pleasant. He felt very pleasant finally to enter the great mountains of the whites. This feels at home for us. Dave and John Parent, who are brothers through next year along with his other brother Jim (my father’s friends) They left us two bags of trail magic with a note at the top of the previous day full of sweets (including my favorite, Cabot Cheddar). They left a bag at the South Peak intersection and the other in North Peak. This was so generous on his part. At the summit we met a group of 4 types that are mass. One of them asked if we were backpackers and told him that we were doing the pass. They were interested and very pleasant to speak! They offered to give us a small bottle of Arce syrup and, of course, I accepted. Once we get out of the summit and start descending, I stopped at a point of view and wanted to make some toast with the Arce syrup and have my dad and I drink it and Eagle Eye Video. In the process I dropped the beautiful mini arce syrup bottle on the edge. There were thick bushes, so there was a possibility that he had maintained, but he was quite sure he was swept. I was sad but I quickly accepted and began to get away from the point of view. My dad went to verify to see if he could see him, he leaned down to see more closely and his water bottle shot on the edge and left the site immediately and his phone was sitting on the edge of the rock, almost disappeared in the black hole. We all looked at each other and we were like, well, that was a failure haha, let’s get out of here before anything else goes wrong. Not long after this, my dad took an unpleasant spill, but fortunately he was not injured. We had the most beautiful descent, with an impressive mountain stream and a waterfall that followed us at the base of the mountain. It was a technical, but fun descent. You had to be careful. While we reflected, arriving downhill, we thought about ourselves that this was the most beautiful walk we have had on this walk and we feel very good to return to the territory of origin. Eagle Eye took us to the city to replenish/regroup during the night before addressing whites. As difficult as going this morning, what a beautiful day ended up. That is a thing, just put one foot in front of the other and it will take you to a different place!
