AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup 2026: India draws with Japan, Australia, Lebanon

India were drawn in Group B for the upcoming AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup, along with Lebanon, B and C, as confirmed during the draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.

The 10th edition of the U-17 Women’s Asian Cup will be played in China between May 1 and 17 bvhfgg11.

Full list of groups:

• Group A: China, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar

• Group B: Japan, Australia, India, Lebanon

• Group C: A, South Korea, Philippines, Chinese Taipei

India was one of eight teams to secure a place in the tournament through the qualifiers.

It topped Group G ahead of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in the qualifiers held in October 2025 to qualify for the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup after 21 years.

Under former Italy international Pamela Conti as head coach, the under-17 side won the SAFF U-19 Women’s Championship, beating Bangladesh in the final and will be hoping to continue their dream run in China.
