The 2025 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) still has a few matches remaining in the group stage, but the squad for the round of 16 has been finalized ahead of the final day of play in the first round.
While heavyweights Morocco, Egypt and Nigeria topped their respective groups in the round of 16, Tanzania qualified for the knockouts for the first time after a 1-1 draw against Tunisia.
