AIFF and FSDL will hold ‘constructive’ conversations on 28 August for submitting the Supreme Court for submitting the Supreme Court

In an important development for Indian football, representatives from the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) met Monday to discuss the future of the 2025-26 football season.

The meeting was held in accordance with a directive from the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Both parties described the discussions as constructive and positive and explained optimism that they will achieve a mutually agreed proposal.

AIFF has issued a statement on social media to clarify the new development.

This joint plan, aimed at guaranteeing the continuous development and progress of the sport in India, will be submitted to the Supreme Court on 28 August.

The AIFF and FSDL have stated that they will not give any further comments while the issue is sub-Judge.
