The All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Thursday confirmed that India’s AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers final round match against Hong Kong, China, scheduled to take place in Kochi, will go ahead as planned d3GS8x.
In an official statement, the AIFF said it is in continuous coordination with the Kerala Football Association (KFA) to ensure that all arrangements at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium are completed on time. The federation expressed confidence that the necessary formalities will be completed in cooperation with local authorities.
“As per the operational timeline, the stadium is to come under the control of the match operations team from Matchday-2 (March 29) and we are confident that all necessary procedures will be completed within the stipulated time frame,” the statement said.
The AIFF also acknowledged the support from all stakeholders and expressed optimism about successfully hosting the competition in Kochi.
