The All India Football Federation (AIFF) convened a special general body meeting on 12 October to adopt the draft constitution and other changes in accordance with the Supreme Court ruling.
World Football Board FIFA has established a Deadline of 30 October for the AIFF to adopt the new constitution.
«The SGM has been called up for a special agenda. It has just been to accept the Constitution, and there is no other agenda,» a top officer of Aiff told PTI on Sunday.
The SGM will be held in the National Capital, where the Aiff has head office.
On 19 September, the Supreme Court approved the draft constitution of the AIFF by the former APEX Court judge L Nageswara Rao with certain changes and the football body instructed to accept it in a general body meeting within four weeks.
The draft constitution, drawn up by Justice Rao on instructions from the Tophof, presented some radical changes, including a person who holds the office during a maximum period of 12 years during their lives, subject to a maximum of two consecutive conditions of four years each.

Although it said that a cooling period of four years had to be observed after eight years as the office carrier of the sports body, the design said that a person could not remain a member of the sports body after reaching 70 years old.
According to the draft constitution, the executive committee of the AIFF would have 14 members who would be under the age and term of office.
There will be one president, two vice presidents (a man and a woman), a treasurer and 10 other members, added it.
Of the 10 other members, there would be five eminent players, including two women.
The draft constitution also has provisions for the removal of the office carriers, including the president, through a motion without trust that the existing constitution of the AIFF does not have.
