What solution do the clubs want?

The clubs have brought forward three requests to the Amici Curiae to be placed in front of the Bank of the Supreme Court on Friday:

  • “The urgency of pronouncing the judgment at the earliest, since the football calendar stands still about the pyramid

  • That any consistent instructions arising from the judgment in a time-bound (15-30 days) way are completed to restore the certainty at the earliest to the ecosystem

  • In the event that the current procedure goes beyond August 22, 2025, the processes with regard to performing the competitions and any additional operations can be permitted and accelerated, so that a long -term structural solution for all parties can be obtained at its earliest. »

Moreover, the clubs have also requested a long-term solution if the two parties AIFF and FSDL reach an agreement.

“Clubs have multi-year sponsorship and contractual obligations, and various sponsors have already withdrawn because of the prevailing uncertainty. No one of no commercial partner can be expected to invest or commit them under an interim scheme or for the short term, in view of the viewing scale and complexity of organizing a tournament and the security of long-term and sponsoring.»

«That is why it is necessary that the current procedure is accelerated to offer the necessary certainty for the competition and the broader football pyramid to function.»
