And just as that, the end

I am really convinced that at the time you leave time it moves faster. I feel that I blinked, and somehow we have been back at home for more than two whole weeks. I am a little ashamed that I am only reaching my wrapping now. However, prepare to be taken in time to August 14.

Here we go

… The most emotional day was such an emotional day, that when I woke up this morning I couldn’t say if I was fine. As I could not climb with grace of the upper bunk, the nerves began to drag: I wasn’t sure how our last day would go. 11 days along the way is long enough to feel that this is the way you have lived your whole life, and short enough to think you could. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye.

But like a clock, we finished breakfast and we were on the way. While we walked from Fergère, crossing the ski hill, pass the elevators and run, I could feel that the anguish left my body. Looking on the other side of the Valley, Mont Blanc shone in the soft morning light, the paragers were going to sail slowly taking the sky. I took my camera to capture the moment, knowing that even the movie could not do justice. Looking at the light while we ascended to Brévent, fighting for rocks and climbing stairs, amazed. It was the morning type that stands out from the rest.

My end

Maybe it was the view, or the fact that it was our final beak, but there was a moment in that climb when we rounded a corner and the path felt. With the hikers of a day and the adventurers up and leaving the gondola, this peak was my term. We smiled and took photos, ate sweets and felt proud to have done it here. So much so that the descent felt like those additional miles that you have to walk to reach a path, it is still a path, but not he Trail -ecsione but extra.

The end

When we finally arrived at the pavement, my heart fluttered searching he term. We had really completed the circle, and so in 10 minutes we were on the bus back to Chamonix. After 11 days and 170 kilometers, we were the TMB.
