Liverpool defender Andy Robertson announced on Thursday that he will leave the Premier League side at the end of the current season.
Robertson joined Liverpool from Hull City in 2017 and has won two Premier League titles, a Champions League, the FA Cup and two League Cups, as well as the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Community Shield.
«It’s never easy leaving a club like Liverpool. It’s been a big part of me and my family’s lives for the last nine years,» the 32-year-old said in a video shared on social media.
«I think this is the time to move on. The nine years I look back on with a big smile on my face,» he added.
Robertson has the second most assists for a defender in the Premier League, with 60 goals.
