The football board of Argentina started an investigation into anti -Semitic acts by fans of the Second Division Club on Monday all boys before and during a match against Atlanta.
All boys’ fans showed a box in blue and yellow-the colors of Atlanta-dressed with an Israeli flag near the Malvinas Argentinas Stadium for Sunday’s 0-0 in the 20th round of the tournament, which determines promotion to the top flight. Some wore Palestinian and Iranian flags.
Atlanta is historically linked to the Jewish community of Argentina.
During the game a drone with the Palestinian flag flew over the field and some fans made inflammatory hymns.
The Argentinian football club has issued a statement in which «its total and absolute conviction of the disgusting acts of anti -Semitism is expressed by fans of the All Boys Club.»
«This is not a folklore,» said the AFA. «This is discrimination.»
The police in the Buenos Aires police have infringed, among other things, on inciting disorders against fans of the club.
Atlanta is located in the Villa Crespo district, where Jewish immigrants settled in the early 1900s.
