Argentinian football clubs can now welcome supporters after a ban on a ban, said the Argentinian football club on Thursday.
The prohibition, imposed in 2013 after violent incidents, including the death of a spectator, has now been lifted as part of a staged reintroduction prior to the next round of competitions in the current competition campaign.
«This is a historic day because it marks the start of the return of visiting fans, so that clubs that want to host them,» said Afa President Claudio Tapia during a press conference.

He added that the move was partly motivated by the excitement around the return of Angel Di Mary to the top flight of Argentina.
Test events are planned for this weekend, including the presentation of Di María with Rosario Central in the stadium of Lanus and River Plate’s visit to Instituto de Cordoba.

Rosario Central President Gonzalo Belloso appealed to the fans of his club to behave in the right way in the middle of the renewed presence of rival supporters.
Javier Alonso, the security minister of Buenos Aires, emphasized that clubs who want to organize visiting fans should guarantee the approval of the authorities and that it must guarantee your -team the responsible behavior of his supporters.
