Arteta confirms injury to Havertz, refuses to discuss the expected move from Eze to Arsenal


Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was tight lips on Friday about the potential arrival of Ebereechi Eze from Crystal Palace, but confirmed that Kai Havertz suffered a knee injury.

«I can never talk about a player who is not yet a part of our group or club,» said Arteta at a press conference when he was asked for a remark about Eze, who is reportedly underwent a medical investigation at Arsenal prior to a movement for a movement for 60 million pounds ($ 80 million).

The Germany has a knee injury and Arteta said that Havertz should undergo more tests to discover the extent.

«Then we will have more clarity about the next steps,» said Arteta.
