Ashique Kuruniyan joins Bengali FC for the second stint of Mohun Bagan

India International Ashique Kuruniyan has become a member of Bengaluru FC for a long-term deal, the Indian Super League-Outfit announced on Friday.

The 28-year-old winger from Kerala joins the blues after having spent three seasons with Mohun Bagan Super Giant, in which he won two ISL cups and the shield of one ISL winner.

For the Mariners, he played in 49 games – after he was sidelined for periods as a result of injuries – in those three years, only scored once and proven three assists.

This will be the second Stint of Kuruniyan with the based side of Bengaluru after he had spent three seasons with the team in between 2019 and 2022.

In his first spell at the club, the fast forward forwards stood in 44 games, scored two goals and offering one assist.
