Atletico Madrid draws Italy forward Giacomo Raspadori from Naples


Atletico Madrid has signed Italy Giacomo Raspadori from Napoli with a five -year contract, said De la Liga Club on Monday, with the Italian media reporting that the deal is worth a total of 26 million euros ($ 30.14 million).

Raspadori started his career at Sassuolo, before he joined Napoli in a loan agreement in 2022 and the Serie A title in his first campaign in the club, with the move at the end of that season made permanent.

The 25-year-old won his second Scudetto with Napoli last season and made a total of 88 league games for the club, and scored 13 goals, but most of his playing time came off the bank.

Raspadori was part of the Triumphant Euro 2020 team in Italy and scored nine goals for his country in 40 performances.
