Ballon d’Or 2025 Nominees List: Dembele, Salah, Mbappe Headline 30-man list; No Messi and Ronaldo


The balloon d’Or nominees list for 2025 was announced on Thursday, with Ousmane Dembele, Kylian Mbappe and Mohamed Salah.

Forward Ousmane Dembele is the leader who wins his first balloon d’Or after registering 36 goals and 13 assists in competitions for both club and country.

Mohammed Salah, Premier League winner with Liverpool and Barcelona’s Raphinha, who won the La Liga title with Barcelona, are some of the other big names on the list.

Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the UEFA Nations League in June, and missed Lionel Messi.
