Ballon d’Or 2025: PSG, Arsenal called Men’s and Women’s Club of the Year

PSG and Arsenal were respectively called the Men’s and Women’s Club of the Year during the Ballon d’Or Ceremony of 2025 in the Châtelet Theater in Paris on Monday.

PSG won a French League and Cup -Dubbel and the Champions League for the first time in their history last season, while Arsenal Barcelona also defeated the Women’s Champions League.

Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi collected the prize on behalf of PSG and said: “Football is not easy. We have one of the best structures with young, talented players; we have many stars of whom are here. We study for the long term.

“It was difficult against Liverpool in the Tour of 16 in Paris and also gone. Champions League is about details, and it was the dream. The players want it, and they achieved it with a great coach.

Arsenal -Baas Renee Sleesers, who spoke on behalf of the team, said: «It is a real honor for Arsenal to be recognized as Women’s Club of the Year. I am proud to represent a club here that has pied women’s football for 38 years since 1987.

“It is appropriate to make that link here tonight, because community is what we build around Arsenal women.

«Invest in women, invest in women’s sports. If we do, we all benefit.»
