Bangladesh defeated Nepal 4-0 in a decisive match to win the Saff Under-20 Women’s Championship 2025 title on Monday in the Bashundhara Kings Arena in Dhaka.
It was a must-win match for Nepal, but Bangladesh shot at all cylinders to maintain an unbeaten campaign to win all its six games.
In the reverse match, the host had scored a last-minute winner to Pip Nepal 3-2.
Earlier in the day, Bhutan set five goals past Sri Lanka to end the campaign with six points. The Sri Lankanen finished last in the four-team Double Round-Robin Group after they had not won a competition.
