Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde maybe the first UEFA Champions League2025-26 match of the Club in Newcastle is missing after he had sustained a hamstring injury on Wednesday.
The left back was injured during the training and Spanish reports estimate that he could miss between three and four weeks.
«Balde sustained a slight injury on his left hamstring during today’s training session. His availability will depend on how he is progressing,» said La Liga champion Barcelona in a statement.
The Spanish defender is expected to be set aside for Valencia’s visit in La Liga on September 14, before the trip to Newcastle on September 18.
