Barcelona and Real Madrid will face each other in the Spanish Super Cup final for the fourth time in a row when they meet at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah on Sunday.

Barcelona secured a dominant 5-2 victory against its arch-rivals in last year’s top-flight match, helping it secure the first title of the Hansi Flick era. It was also a record-extending 15th title for the Catalans.

This time, Barcelona defeated Athletic Club in the semi-finals, while Real got past Atletico Madrid to secure their place.

Will there be extra time and penalties for the Spanish Super Cup final between Barcelona and Real Madrid?

If a winner cannot be determined after 90 minutes in the Spanish Super Cup final between Barcelona and Real Madrid, the match will go straight to penalties.

No extra time will be played.
