Bundesliga Club Bayer Leverkusen announced on Monday that it fired his manager Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag was in charge of only two games in the new season of the Bundesliga, where a draw and a loss were managed. Leverkusen is currently 12th on the table.
The club added that the assistant coaching staff will temporarily take over training tasks.
The decision comes after the 3-3 draw from Leverkusen against Werder Bremen, despite a red card in the 63rd minute before the last one. Abdoul Karim Koulibaly scored in injury time to save an unlikely draw.
The Dutchman was appointed by Leverkusen earlier this year to replace Xabi Alonso at the helm, which was brought in by the Spanish Reus Real Madrid.
In his previous Stint with Premier League club Manchester United, he won two domestic cups in two and a half years, but was fired after the worst start of the club to a season, with four defeats in nine league games.
