Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl confirmed on Monday that the club is in talks to extend Harry Kane’s contract with the club.
The 32-year-old English attacker, who joined Bayern in 2023, has a contract until 2027.
“We talk to Harry, we talk,” Eberl said at a Bundesliga event in Frankfurt. “Everyone knows that at some point a decision has to be made.”
Club CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen said on Monday: «Harry has great confidence in us and he feels comfortable in Munich. He and his family are already in place. Therefore, we have absolutely no reason to rush.»
Kane, who went a long time without a team trophy, broke his drought in 2025 when Bayern won the Bundesliga. This season, Bayern are eight points clear in the league and second in the 36-team Champions League table.
Speaking in October, Kane said he could “absolutely imagine” extending his stay in Germany.
Kane scored 119 goals in 126 games for Bayern, while providing 30 assists. This season he scored 34 goals in 30 games for the Bavarians.
With 21 goals in 19 Bundesliga games, Kane is on course to break Robert Lewandowski’s single-season record of 41 goals in the 2020/21 season.
