Club Brugge midfielder Hans Vanaken and Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard have been ruled out of Belgium’s upcoming friendlies in the United States ahead of the World Cup ujnh.
The Belgian association announced on Monday that both players are hampered by physical problems and will not join their teammates. They were called up on Friday by coach Rudi Garcia in a group of 28 players.

“This decision will allow them to continue their rehabilitation under optimal conditions,” the federation said.
Belgium will face the United States in Atlanta on March 28 and Mexico three days later in Chicago.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup starts in June.
