Bournemouth’s Semenyo ready for move to Manchester City: report

AFC Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo is set to make a sensational move to Premier League giants Manchester City in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday that Semenyo will choose Pep Guardiola’s City over the interests of Manchester United and reigning champions Liverpool.

According to a report in the GuardianThe only remaining issue is the structure of the payment to Bournemouth for the player’s £65m release clause.

Semenyo was among the standout players in the competition with nine goals and three assists in 17 appearances for the Cherries.

After a strong start to the season, Bournemouth’s form has dipped in recent months and the club sits in 15th place with 22 points.

City are preparing to battle for the title as they sit just two points behind leaders Arsenal in second place.
