Cafa Nations Cup 2025 – Fully Uzbekistan team, competition schedule; Khusanov, Shomurodov Including

Uzbekistan announced his team of the upcoming Cafa Nations Cup on Saturday, including Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov and record goal scorer Eldor Shomurodov for the tournament.

Shomudorov, who missed the AFC Asian Cup with an injury, returned to the field later that year and scored the very first goal in the Olympic Summer Games in France.

Under his leadership, the team also qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2026 – first time Asian side to do this.

In the meantime, Khusanov will join the side after being released by Manchester City for the tournament, which runs between August 30 and September 8.

As a result, he will miss the Premier League match against Brighton and Hove Albion on August 31.
