The second round games of the League Cup will start on Tuesday, with 46 teams who want to secure a place in the next phase of the competition.
In the third round, the winning teams will be accompanied by the nine Premier League teams that are competing this season in different layers of European competitions.
Newcastle United is the current holder of the trophy after the Liverpool defeated in the final of the last edition.
