The final 16 teams for the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League will be determined at the end of the play-off round on Thursday.
Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain and record winners Real Madrid are among eight teams to book their places in the knockout stages of the tournament after winning their respective play-off matches.
They join the teams that qualified directly for the round of 16 after finishing in the top eight during the competition phase.

The eight best clubs are paired with four seeded pairs based on their position.
The clubs in each seeded pair will be drawn in the round of 16 into one of two positions against the relevant play-off winners in the knockout stage, whose position will be determined by the draw in the knockout stage of the play-offs.
