Chelsea, Barcelona, Aston Villa, Roma and Lyon are one of a large number of parties that are transferred by UEFA for violating financial sustainability requirements in the 2024/25 season.
According to a statement from UEFA, Chelsea, Barcelona, Aston Villa, Hajduk Split and Lyon, have agreed to settlements with conditional and unconditional components that are paid during a fixed period. The clubs must strive to fully meet the agreed goals towards the end of this period.

In addition to these fines, AR Roma has also received a fine of 3 million euros for a somewhat exceeding target in the settlement agreement between the club and UEFA.
