Chelsea have signed Liam Rosenior from French club Racing Strasbourg as their new head coach with a contract until 2032, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday.
Rosenior, who led Strasbourg to European qualification in his first season, replaces Enzo Maresca who left the club on New Year’s Day.
“I am extremely humbled and honored to be appointed head coach of Chelsea Football Club. This is a club with a unique spirit and a proud history of winning trophies,” said Rosenior.
«My job is to protect that identity and create a team that reflects these values in every match we play, while continuing to win trophies. Being entrusted with this role means the world to me and I would like to thank everyone involved for the opportunity and trust in carrying out this task. I will give everything to bring the success this club deserves.»
