Chelsea Vooruit Liam Delap’s hamstring injury is worse than initially feared and could keep him out until December, manager Enzo said Maresca Friday prior to the Premier League collision from his side away from London Rivals Brentford.
Delap, who came from the city of Ipswich in Ipswich in June, was injured in June against Fulham before the international break and was initially expected to miss six to eight weeks.
«It’s about 10 to 12 weeks,» Maresca told reporters.

Better news for Chelsea is that Cole Palmer, who was excluded from the team of England because of a groin injury, is back in training and has a chance to be confronted against Brentford.
«Cole took part in the session for the first time yesterday, not the whole session,» said the Italian. “We have another session this afternoon and we are going to try him to see if he is doing well, otherwise he will be out tomorrow.
«If it is available, we must manage it because of the amount of games.»
Chelsea will probably also give a place on the couch on new signing Alejandro Garnacho, although Maresca said that the Argentinian winger was not yet 100% match fit after he had not played this season before his relocation of Manchester United.
«He works well. Certainly, he has to work because he doesn’t fit 100% here,» said Maresca.
«He has to work. He works well and we will see it. Hopefully we can give him minutes.»
