Churchill Brothers on Cas I-League Verdict: ‘Our struggle for justice continues’


Churchill Brothers on Saturday said her ‘Fight for Justice Continues’ after the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) announced Inter Kashi pronunciation as the winner of 2024-25 i-League.

CAS ruled in favor of Kashi in a dispute about the registration of Mario Barco after the party had registered the Spanish player twice – a movement that was challenged and deemed invalid by the competition committee of the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

Aiff had previously announced Churchill Brothers as the winner of the second row of India, after which Kashi challenged the decision in Cas.

«For every fan who stood with us – who bleed red and believed in what was good – we feel your pain. We know what this club means to go,» began the explanation of Churchill Brothers.

«This judgment can be stuck, but it will not shake our determination. The truth has not been silent – it is only waiting at its time. This is not the end. Our fight for justice goes on. And we promise you – Churchill Brothers will not stop until Goa gets the honor that it really deserves,» concluded it.

With the decision of Cas on Friday, Kashi achieved another three points and brought his total to 42 – enough to conquer the title for the provisional leader Churchill Brothers, who fell to the second place with 40 points.
