In today’s episode of Backpacker Radio presented by The Trek, presented by LMNT, we are joined by Karl Ford. Karl is a retired environmental scientist, conservationist and author of Triple Corona Hiking Adventures and The Colorado Path in Crisis: a naturalistic field report on climate change in mountain ecosystems.
In this conversation, we immerse ourselves in the experiences of Karl walking through the triple crown, its perspective on the current state of conservation and what the future can have, and how climate change is already affecting our beloved long paths, with a special approach on the Colorado path. We also talk about what people can do to help fight climate change and how Karl personally walks the walk when it comes to protecting our planet.
We wrap the show with a bit of summons in the anxiety prior to the walk, what are the garbage houses of the hiker, the triple crown of the gingers, a thing boiling with blood of the week and a voice email of the listener on Utis.
