Conference League 2025-26: Novi Pazar delegation attacked in Poland for the second leg match

The Serbian club Novi Pazar said that some members of the delegation were attacked by a group of masked men outside a restaurant De Nacht before the second stage of Thursday from his UEFA Conference League qualification match against Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok.

About 15 men in masks went to the delegation when it left a restaurant in Central Bialystok, so that it withdrew and the police called, Novi Pazar said in a Instagram Post on Thursday.

The delegation was later attacked by a group of 30 people in masks when it tried to get into a vehicle, the club added.

«We want to point out that our members did not wear club insignions … only thanks to the calmness of those present and at that time were the professional reaction of the police officers avoided,» they added.

«The Novi Pazar Football Club expresses its deep concern about the safety of its members and its indignation in the slow response from the local police.»

Novi Pazar said that it would not attend a pre-match joint lunch, planned for Thursday according to the UEFA protocol, due to the incident the previous night.

UEFA, Jagiellonia and Bialystok Provincial Police were not immediately available for comment.

Novi Pazar, who lost the home leg last week, traveled to Poland with a large delegation, including players, staff, management, sponsors and friends of the club.

«We also ask all the supporters and fans of the club who will attend tonight individually in order not to wear a club insignia, to prevent any kind of incident and to retain the safety of all those present,» added Novi Pazar.

Polish media reported last week that hundreds of Novi Pazar fans gathered in front of the hotel where the Jagiellonia players stayed for the collision of the first legs, singing and firing fireworks.
