Crystal Palace confirms Eze -replacement while Yeremy Pino joins Villarreal


Crystal Palace signed Spain Yeremy Pino on Friday from Villarreal as a direct replacement for Ebereechi Eze.

Originally from the Canary Islands of Spain, the 22-year-old Pino came up through Villarreal’s Youth Academy and was soon seen as one of the top talents.

The fast and sharp attacker helped Villarreal to win the title of 2021 Europa League. He also played for Spain when the country won the Nations League in 2023.

There was a vacancy in the front of Palace three after Eze came to Arsenal last week and Pino signed a five -year -old deal before he possibly closed his debut in Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.

«I am very happy to be here. It is a dream of coming to the Premier League, to a historic club like Crystal Palace, and I hope I can help the team,» said Pino.

Palace chairman Steve Parish described Pino as «an exciting young talent, with such an impressive record in domestic, European and international football.»

Palace will play this season in the Conference League after winning the FA Cup for his very first big trophy ever.
