Lassen peak

We walked Lassen Peak today. Charity had said that this peak originally inspired her to start walking and taking her own physical state seriously. Visiting the park about ten years ago, it was amazed at the beak and the path, which rises about 2000 feet by 2.5 miles of 8400 feet to 10400 feet. But she had never returned and really walked. She was grateful that my walk has provided her an excuse for her and her friends to return. I was glad to be part of that (however, to see charity become much stronger since we met four years ago, I had no doubt that I could walk it).

Emerald lake

We feel too tired to go out to Bumpass hell after Lassen Peak. Instead, we rest on the edge of Lake Emerald and soak our feet a bit. Then we return to the camp and continue eating: I constantly and everyone else intermittently.
Charity thought it was fun to see me being able to eat almost without stopping.

Throughout the day, I think I took eggs and bacon for breakfast, a couple of sandwiches for lunch, cookies, granola bars, hummus, cheese, salmon, pasta with pesto and sauteed mushrooms, ice cream and fruit salad.

PCT stories

The day before, I saw a family camp near «PCT» licenses in your car. I asked them about it and ended up finding peculiarity and colors.

That afternoon, I stopped at the Quirk and Colors camp, allowing us to exchange many more PCT stories. They said that in the decade since they obtained their PCT plate, only a handful of people have approached them.

Load devices

Very few places have points of sale to load my devices. None of the bathrooms have none. Lavandería has something. I am trying to load devices this eve of my batteries, hoping to recharge battery packages in laundry in the morning.

Google Photos stupidity

Why do Google Pixel have been deleted so much time? I’ve been keeping images like JPG and Raw. But I have been running out of space to hold them on my phone. I have the backup of the enabled cloud, so I want to eliminate unprocessed images from my phone that have already been supported.

When it warns me of low memory, the only options that my phone presents are to reduce the quality of the image saved or go to the application of the file administrator to treat the images one by one. I think seven independent actions are needed to eliminate a single rough photo. And for some reason, it has seconds to eliminate the image if I am not currently connected to the Internet. It never seems to remember that I was not connected in the last image. Eliminating the RAW images of my phone has become a continuous task, although I prefer to spend that time enjoying the real landscape.

And why, if you try to delete too much, hang the phone a bit? I think it is because engineers must do something interesting to be promoted instead of doing something useful (yes, I am speaking as a former Google engineer).
