I woke up this morning at the Village Cafe in Whatawhata. The morning started with a walk along the road, turned into a walk through a farm field (my shoes got soaked), into a farm field with sheep to then walk down a gravel road to the Pahautea Hut trailhead.
The day had a lot of elevation which is exciting! Now I’m looking forward to the ELLY-V! Although there are many ups and downs on this path, never a constant climb. …
