When I left Chickn Spring Lake, I saw a large group to go to the Cirque on the lake to practice self -esteem in a snowfield there. I took my ice ax to a ski season during the winter and practiced there. I felt that the snow pass that bordered the parking lots was not only convenient, but also had a hundred feet to slide before hitting rocks, only 20 feet before hitting asphalt

I made another little snowman, complete with hiking post, near Siberia Pass. I called him «spring», since he knew that he would soon melt and resembled a spring.

Pretty Little Creek in the descent to Rock Creek
I discovered that my legs were tired by climbing the most steeping sets of curves (such as Rock Creek), needing to rely briefly every hundred passages. But they seemed to return to 3.0 mph once the land is flattened and the tail becomes soft.
Rock Creek was my first wet stand of the walk. I explained to see if there were easy/insurance dry crosses. I didn’t feel comfortable crossing a fallen tree (but others did). Another man and I agreed at the site of crossing. The water was even our knees, but it was clear enough to see the background. That made the crossing quite easy.

Rock Creek, where I crossed it
Today I had 2 more wet feet crosses, both by Whitney Creek. The first was when he left a meadow, so it was quiet water (deep knee). The second was more upstream, where the water flowed quickly. That was also a deep knee. Nor was it too challenging.

Whitney Creek: In one of my crossing places
I met Mary (party bus) at the camp. She, Coltin and Jess are doing whitney tomorrow. Colton and Jess became ill and recovered for a day in Lone Pine.
I think I have organized things for Whitney. I will try to sleep a little earlier. I will join Mary, Hunter, Colton and Jess for Whitney. We are going after midnight.
