Total: 19.2 mi

I woke up with my alarm at 6:20 am and I could immediately say that I was hot even though it was early in the morning. I could still listen to cars on the road just by my side, a little annoying, but I slept them quite well. Every night they have exhausted me, exhausted, so no noise has really bothered me yet. 🙂
I started just after 7 am, only, mostly down because Stehekin is thousands of feet below the rainy pass.
I met with another hiker a little in the day, the last Nema, and we walked together all day. The path also enters the North Cascades National Park in these miles, which was really great! I had never been here before, so I was excited to add another (National Park) to the list.
It was in the middle of the day when I realized that I could probably arrive in Stehekin for the bus trip at 6:15 pm to the city, so I decided to do that instead of camping and go the next morning.
He ended up arriving early at Mile 80.7, and spoke with Ranger Stan and some other hikers for a while before taking the bus for a 45 -minute trip to the city.
When the bus arrived, a large group of PCT hikers left him to restart his walk after being in the city. There was also a group of women, and I thought about how I wanted to be with them. Until now on the way, I have seen very few women, so it would be good to walk with some. Maybe I catch up!
There was wifi (Starlink that was from ferry, so only when I was coupled hahaha), so I used it to call my family and verify my messages and as soon as I got there, which took one or two hours. Then I went up to Lakeview and installed my camp, on the group site for PCT hikers, and then I saw a new episode of the program I just downloaded and went to bed.
I was very happy to have reached the city, a milestone for this first section.
See you in the next!
